Halo's dam Cosmah is half-sister to Natalma, dam of Northern Dancer, but LEWIS MICHAEL carries no Northern Dancer in his pedigree, and here lies a wonderful opportunity - book mares with Northern Dancer to him (especially Nureyev and Storm Cat). Mr. Prospector's strain also should be considered. Broad Brush, the broodmare sire of LEWIS MICHAEL, is inbred 3x3 to Turn-to, himself 3x3 to a son and daughter of Pharos. This suggests Nasrullah's strain could be reinforced, as he is three-parts brother to Royal Charger, sire of Turn-to.
