2017 Stallion Open House scheduled for Nov. 11 and 12
Three Chimneys Farm will host its annual open house and stallion show this Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11 & 12.

The farm's stallions are available for inspection each day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Will Take Charge, the leading freshman sire of 2017 by yearling average, at $169,190, will be available next year for a fee of $30,000.  The fee for fellow freshman yearling sire Strong Mandate will also remain unchanged for 2018, at $10,000. Strong Mandate was also a top-five first crop yearling sire.

Three Chimneys also has a pair of sires whose first crop are weanlings this year: Palace Malice, winner of both the Belmont S. (G1) and Metropolitan Mile (G1), and Fast Anna, a son of champion 2-year-old Dreaming of Anna who bred nearly 200 mares his first two seasons.

Veteran stallions Caleb's Posse, winner of the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1), and Sky Mesa, the sire of more than 60 stakes winners and earners of $49 million, round out the lineup available for public viewing.
