Three Chimneys to host January Stallion Open House
Three Chimneys Farm will host an open house and stallion show to kick off 2019 from January 6th through 10th.

The farm's stallions, including new 2019 stallions Sharp Azteca and Funtastic, will be available for inspection each day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sharp Azteca, brilliant winner of the Grade 1 Cigar Mile and more than $2.4 million, joins the Three Chimneys roster for 2019 at $10,000, stands and nurses. Funtastic, a son of leading sire More Than Ready, boasts a resume that includes a win in the prestigious United Nations (G1). He will stand for $7,500.

2017 Horse of the Year Gun Runner was extremely well-received during his first year at stud this past season at Three Chimneys, breeding more than 170 mares. He will stand for $70,000 in 2019.

Returning Three Chimneys stallions include Will Take Charge, a top-five First-Crop sire of 2018. His fee remains at $30,000.  Fellow freshman sire Strong Mandate will also remain unchanged for 2018, at $10,000.

Three Chimneys also has a pair of sires whose first crop will be yearlings of 2019: Palace Malice, winner of both the Belmont S. (G1) and Metropolitan Mile (G1), and Fast Anna, a son of champion 2-year-old Dreaming of Anna.

Veteran stallion Sky Mesa, the sire of 65 stakes winners and earnings of more than $53 million, rounds out the stellar lineup available for public viewing.

Three Chimneys is located at 1981 Old Frankfort Pike, Versailles, KY 40383. Visit our website at www.threechimneys.com
