Sky Mesa veteran notches another stakes win
Leadem in Ken tallied his third career stakes win on Jan. 27 at Sam Houston Race Park with a one-length victory in the Stonerside Sprint S.

Leadem in Ken has been one of the top sprinters on the southwest circuit for several years, winning or placing in 23 of 40 starts, including 10 stakes placings, and earning $445,203. He is owned by Tyree Wolesensky.

Consistently one of the leading 2-year-old sires, Sky Mesa is responsible for 125 black type horses and the earners of more than $54 million worldwide.

Bred by Ken and Sarah Ramsey, Leadem in Ken is out Last Kitten, who is a half-sister to champion turf male Kitten's Joy and and multiple Grade 1 winner Precious Kitten.
