Stellar results for Fast Anna at Fasig-Tipton NY-bred Preferred Yearlings sale
First-crop yearlings sire Fast Anna had four lots sell at the Aug. 11-12 Fasig-Tipton New York-bred Preferred Yearlings sale for an average of $112,500, an excellent 15 times the bred-on stud fee for the Three Chimneys stallion.

Topping the list was hip No. 450, a filly consigned by South Point Sales Agency and purchased by perennial leading buyer Mike Ryan for $150,000. Out of Holy Smokie, the bay filly is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner and Grade 2-placed Conquest Farenheit.

Hip No. 575, a colt consigned by Perrone Sales Ltd., went to Tracy Farmer for $130,000. The colt is from the same family as Bay Shore S. (G3) winner Declan's Warrior, Canadian champion filly Deceit Dancer, and Lord Nelson, who won or placed in an incredible 24 stakes races.

Also topping the six-figure mark was hip No. 507. Offered by Summerfield, the filly went to Bellacosa Stables for $110,000. The filly's dam Mighty Good has four winners under her, including stakes winner Miss Narcissist and stakes-placed Fenwick Hall.

Fast Anna's next yearlings at auction will come in the September 10-23 Keeneland Sale, where he has 21 lots in the catalog.
