The 2019 2-year-old auction season kicked off in incredible style for First-Crop sire Fast Anna, who closed out the March 12-13 OBS 2-year-olds in Training Sale with an average of $171,750, nearly 23 times his advertised stud fee.

Topping the two-day sale for the Three Chimneys stallion was hip No. 546, consigned by de Meric Sales, agent, and purchased by Breeze Easy LLC for $470,000. The filly, who had worked a bullet :09 4/5 seconds during the Under Tack show, is from the same family as champion mare Hidden Lake and multiple Grade 1 winner Humor Acido.

Fast Anna's first crop will race this year. The Grade 1 performer is standing this year for $7,500 stands and nurses.
