Three Chimneys homebred brings $927,000 at Tattersalls
A Dubawi filly out of the Three Chimneys mare Wild Wind sold for $927,842 during the first session of the prestigious Oct. 6-8 Tattersalls Yearling sale at Newmarket, GB.

Consigned by Highclere Stud and catalogued as hip No. 17, the chestnut filly was purchased by John Ferguson.

German-bred Wild Wind was a two-time stakes winner and placed in several Group events, including the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (G1). She comes from the same family as European champions Rumplestiltskin and Tapestry. Wild Wind's third dam is the incomparable Miesque, a two-time winner of the Breeders' Cup Mile (G1) and member of Racing's Hall of Fame.

Wild Wind currently resides at Three Chimneys and has a Medaglia d'Oro weanling filly and is in foal to Malibu Moon.
