Will Take Charge weanlings turning heads at KEENOV
The much-anticipated first crop by champion Will Take Charge have been some of the top-selling weanlings during the first week of the Keeneland November sale.

Leading the way for the Three Chimneys stallion was hip No. 74, which sold on Tuesday and was consigned by the stallion's place of residence. The winning bidder at $350,000 was prominent buyer Dennis O'Neill.  The colt is the second foal out of Summer Soiree, winner of the Del Mar Oaks (G1).

Hip No. 749, also consigned by Three Chimneys, sold Thursday for $280,000 to Stud Golconda. The Kentucky-bred's dam Classy Touch is out of Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Flute and is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Filimbi and Crosswinds, dam of Ashland S. (G1) winner Weep No More.

Also on Thursday, hip No. 670 brought a winning bid of $220,000 from Salvisa Bloodstock. Consigned by Hunter Valley Farm, agent, the colt is the first foal out of stakes winner Winter Book.

Through the first four sessions of the Nov. 8-20 sale, Will Take Charge's weanlings have averaged nearly $137,000.
