As anticipated by his genotype, he transmits powerful hindquarters, especially strength through the gaskins, making him an ideal sire to gain fast-twitch muscle fiber in his progeny. EXCHANGE RATE seems to unite with a variety of lines. Danzig sons have been successful with mares that reinforce Native Dancer, Bull Dog and Sir Gallahad III. EXCHANGE RATE succeeds when Mr. Prospector and/or Buckpasser lines are reinforced, and I believe he will do well with mares from the Halo and Roberto lines, and mares with Blushing Groom, Storm Bird and Nijinsky II.
