Flower Alley - Print

By: Ken McLean

FLOWER ALLEY is a symmetrical, attractive stallion. Despite the fact he is 3x3 to influential sire Mr. Prospector, he does not look like that famous ancestor - instead, he resembles the Northern Dancer type (he has many duplications of Native Dancer via both sexes). The addition of a third cross of Mr. Prospector, Raise a Native, or Native Dancer has worked in both Lilacs and Lace and Neck 'N Neck. Should breeders wish to add another source of Northern Dancer, let it come via a "daughter," not via another son.

FLOWER ALLEY should work well with Seattle Slew, Roberto, Halo, Blushing Groom, In Reality, His Majesty, Graustark, Mr. Leader, Sharpen Up, Arch and progeny of Rough Shod II. Alibhai would be another important strain to introduce.
