Young runners by Yes It’s True continued to be hot commodities, as a juvenile filly and juvenile colt sold back-to-back for $200,000 and $170,000 respectively, on opening day at OBS.

Hip 255 sold first, and the dark bay colt brought $170,000 from Zayat Stables. The Kentucky bred out of Playful Princess, by Meadowlake is a half-brother to a record-setting Graded stakes horse. He worked a quarter mile on April 14th in :21.1, and was consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds.

Hip 256 followed minutes later, and the chestnut filly from Niall Brennan’s consignment sold for $200,000 to Barry Berkelhammer, agent. The Florida bred out of Pleasant Ring, by Pleasant Tap had worked an eighth in :10.1 on April 14. She is a half sister to $834,580 stakes winner Bad Debt, and out of a half-sister to millionaire Freefourinternet.

Yes It’s True has a lifetime two-year-olds average of nearly $100,000. Sire of more than 100 stakes horses, he is standing the 2015 season for $10,000 Live Foal.
