Anna’s Fast visited the winner’s circle for the second time in her young career on Dec. 26 when the 2-year-old Fast Anna filly sped to a 2 1/2-length win in a six-furlong allowance at Turfway Park (VIDEO).

The bay youngster was named a TDN Rising Star following her smashing debut victory in April at Keeneland, when she was also the first winner for her sire. She got a few months off after shipping to England for a Grade 2 turf race, and turned in a sharp effort in Thursday night’s return. After stalking the pace for a half-mile, she readily took the lead in upper stretch and drew clear to win handily.

Anna’s Fast covered the distance on the synthetic surface in 1:11.69.

The winner sold for $470,000 at this year’s OBS March Sale and is owned by Breeze Easy LLC. She was bred by Amg Equine LLC and is out of True Will, who produced a full brother to Anna’s Fast in 2018 and was bred back to Fast Anna this year.

Fast Anna’s first crop of runners features four stakes winners, including the two-time black type winners Fast Scene and Been Studying Her. Fast Anna will stand the 2020 season at Three Chimneys Farm for $10,000, stands and nurses.
