The exceptional-looking first foals by Grade 1 winner Strong Mandate have arrived to high praise from their breeders, earning great reviews from the likes of Taylor Made’s Mark Taylor.
“This foal definitely has quality. If Strong Mandate continues to produce babies like this, we’ll be repeat customers for sure,” said Taylor of his Strong Mandate foal.
Others that have caught the eyes of their breeders include: a bay filly out of Repeat, born Jan. 27 and bred by Ms. Nancy Shuford. Repeat is a daughter of Grade 2 winner Letgomyecho; and a bay colt born on the same day and bred by Copper Penny Stable out of the stakes-placed mare Ravenesque.

Strong Mandate won the Grade 1 Hopeful S. by nearly 10 lengths, one of the largest margins of victory in the 100-plus year history of Saratoga’s premier race for 2-year-olds. The son of Tiznow out of Grade 1 winner Clear Mandate, who was bred to 110 mares last year, is standing the 2016 season for $10,000, stands and nurses.
