Ice Princess scampered away from her foes over the sloppy going at Belmont Park to break her maiden by a eye-opening 12 lengths on Sept. 6 in a 1 1/16-mile maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies.

She is Palace Malice’s 11th First-Crop winner, second-most for any First-Crop sire and his fourth winner at a mile or over.

Under a hold down the backstretch, Ice Princess moved up on the turn to contest for the lead, then easily pulled away to win with authority (VIDEO).

Corms Racing Stable, Flying P Stable and R A Hill Stable combined to buy the gray/roan filly for $75,000 at the Fasig-Tipton New York Preferred Yearling sale in 2018. She is the second foal out of Happy Clapper, who is a full sister to Grade 3 winner Ice Festival.
