Three Chimneys Farm announced today its 2026 roster and fees.

Gun Runner, the sire of 15 millionaires and 11 Grade 1 winners leads the roster and will stand the 2026 season for a fee of $250,000 LFSN.

In 2025, Gun Runner sired eleven Graded Stakes winners and three Grade I winners including defending Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) winner and 3YO Champion colt Sierra Leone, multiple G1 winner Locked and Brant who was a $3,000,000 OBS March 2-year-old Sale Topper. In total, Gun Runner is the sire of 17 stakes winners and 32 stakes horses in 2025.

Yearlings by Gun Runner which sold through the ring averaged nearly $1 million, including 17 yearlings that sold for $1 million or more. He also became the first sire in Keeneland history to sire the first four session toppers at the September Sale, highlighted by the $3.3 million Sale Topper.

Goncalo Torrealba reiterated, “Gun Runner is continuing to prove our dreams can become a reality. Three Chimneys and our partners continue to breed our best mares to him which we believe will further his influence on the breed.”

“Into Mischief’s son Newgate, who won the G1 Santa Anita Handicap, competing among the best of his generation, defeating 8 Grade 1 winners during his career, was extremely popular with breeders,” said Doug Cauthen, Three Chimneys board member. “Newgate is one of the best-looking horses you will ever see,” added Cauthen. Newgate’s fee has been set at $17,500 LFSN.

Three Chimneys’ homebred Gun Pilot, winner of the $1-million Grade 1 Churchill Downs Stakes and earner of over $1 million,” enters his second year of stud duty. “He is very much like his sire Gun Runner – scopy and strong. He bred a full book of mares in his first season, and we want to continue the momentum by offering great value on him,” said Rebecca Nicholson, Director of Stallion Nominations. Gun Pilot will stand for $12,500 LFSN.

Volatile, the sire of 10 Stakes Performers this year, 50% of which were Graded Performers, will stand for a fee of $10,000 LFSN. Among his leading earners this year are GSW and track record setter Tip Top Thomas, $1,000,000 Southwest Stakes (G3) victor Speed King, and promising 2-year-old Igniter who is targeting the G2 Remsen.

Rounding out the roster is Funtastic who hails from the family of Gun Runner. His top earner, Funtastic Again, captured the Grade 3 Dominion Stakes at Woodbine. A Grade 1 placed performer, he boasts a record of 5 wins, 2 seconds, and 2 thirds, from 13 starts. Funtastic will stand for a fee of $2,500 LFSN.

Sky Mesa, winner of the 2002 G1 Hopeful Stakes for John Oxley, has been pensioned from stud duties. The son of Pulpit entered stud at Three Chimneys Farm in 2004 and quickly established himself as a consistent and versatile sire. His impressive legacy includes 26 graded stakes winners, 80 black-type winners, 159 black-type horses, and five champions. Among his notable progeny are Grade I winners General Quarters and Perfect Alibi.
