Three Chimneys Farm will host its autumn open house and stallion showcase Monday through Sunday, Nov. 2-8.
The farm’s five stallions, headlined by the Gun Runner as well as exciting new prospects in Gun Pilot and Newgate, will be available for inspection each day from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Gun Runner, who was the champion sire of his generation each of the past four years, is having another banner year in the sales ring and on track. At the two most prestigious yearling auctions of 2026, the Keeneland Sale and Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale, Gun Runner accounted for 25 yearlings that sold for at least $1 million, the highest in history. On track, Leading Change won the Travers S. (G1), My Gun’s Loaded the Alabama S. (G1), Always a Runner the Kentucky Oaks (G1) and Further Ado the Blue Grass S. (G1).
Gun Pilot, a son of Gun Runner, is represented by his first foals in 2026. Among his first weanlings offered at auction were a pair that sold for six figures at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Mixed sale. Gun Pilot was a Grade 1-winning millionaire, taking the Churchill Downs S. (G1) on Derby Day, as well as placing in the Forego S. (G1) and True North S. (G2) at Saratoga.
Newgate also had his first foals arrive this year. The son of Into Mischief won both the Santa Anita H (G1) and Robert B. Lewis S. (G3) and retired with over $1 million in earnings.
Volatile’s 2026 on track results include the brilliant T O Elvis setting a stakes record in the Churchill Downs S. (G1) on Derby Day and Grade 1 winner Come Candela, while in the sales ring he had the most expensive filly in Keeneland September Book 4 at $525,000. Volatile has three crops of racing age and has been in the top five on the sire list each of those years.
Funtastic is a half-brother to Horse of the Year Saint Liam, as well as the dam of Gun Runner. A Grade 1 winner at 11 furlongs, Funtastic’s Funtastic Again won the 2025 Dominion Day S. (G3) and the 2023 Leonatus S.
