Champion sire Gun Runner’s sales success was on display once again Tuesday at the 2022 OBS March 2-year-old sale when a colt by the Three Chimneys stallion was secured for $600,000 by Fawzi Abdulla Nass.

Consigned by Eddie Woods, agent, hip No. 93 had breezed a quarter-mile in :21 3/5 at the Under Tack Show this past weekend.

“He’s been bought for Fawzi Nass in Dubai. I’m just the guy waving the catalogue,” said Nass’ representative Gerard Butler. “He is a lovely horse with a great pedigree. There is an awful lot to like about him. He had everything, top to bottom.”

The regally-bred striking chestnut is out of Sacre Coeur, who is also the dam of champion turf female Lady Eli, multiple graded stakes winner Bizzy Caroline and graded stakes-placed Princesa Caroline. The colt was bred by Runnymede Farm and Catesby W. Clay Investment 2.
