I’m So Anna fended off several challenges to win Saturday’s $75,000 Pike Place Dancer S. at Golden Gate Fields, giving the 2-year-old Fast Anna filly her first career stakes win.

The dark bay juvenile, owned by her breeder KMN Racing LLC, was second in the Generous Portion S. at Del Mar this summer and has put together a solid 2-2-1 record from five starts, earning $100,740.

I’m So Anna is one of Fast Anna’s seven stakes horses this year. Three Chimneys recently announced that Fast Anna will stand in 2021 for $5,000 S&N.

I’m So Anna and Miss Glorious broke together, but the eventual winner quickly took command. Setting a sensible pace the entire trip, she had plenty left in the stretch to repel her foes, winning by a half-length on the firm turf.

I’m So Anna is the first foal out of So So Fast, whose second dam Tizakitty is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Paynter and Grade 3 winner Tiz West.
