Lady Dyna, the first foal out of multiple Grade 1-winning millionaire Dynaforce, broke her maiden for Green Hill Farms and Three Chimneys Farm on June 16 following an eventful trip over the Parx turf course.
Trained by Michael Matz, Lady Dyna broke from post seven and made her way to the rail the first time past the wire in the 1 1/8-mile contest. The gray filly tracked just behind the leaders until the final turn, when Paco Lopez angled out for racing room.
Once in the clear, she got the lead while well off the rail. Native Strike made a late run, but Lady Dyna had enough left to win by a neck (VIDEO).
Lady Dyna is by Tapit and was bred in Kentucky by Dr. John Chandler. Her dam won both the Flower Bowl I. (G1) and Beverly D. (G1). Dynaforce is a half-sister to Cetewayo, another Grade 1-winning millionaire.
