Fly On Angel did just that in the Penn National stretch, drawing way impressively in the final furlong to win her Sept. 25 debut by six lengths (VIDEO).

The 2-year-old filly is Palace Malice’s 12th First-Crop winner, making him among the top five on the freshman sire list in the category.

Fly On Angel broke very well out of the gate and dueled with Willkissforkarats for the lead through the first three furlongs. She began to edge away in upper stretch, then asserted herself late to finish the five furlongs in :58.56.

The winner is owned by Nick Cammarano, Jr. and was bred by Machmer Hall and Haymarket Farm in Kentucky.
