R C’s Daisyduke blasted to an eight-length victory in Wednesday’s $50,000 White Clay Creek S. to run the record of the 2-year-old Yes It’s True filly to a perfect 2-for-2.

With little resistance from her seven competitors early, R C’s Daisyduke went right to the front, and then sprinted away from the field at the head of the lane to win with ease. Her final time for the 5 ½ furlongs on the fast track was 1:04.49 (VIDEO).

Bred by her owner Robert Cole, Jr., R C’s Daisyduke broke her maiden in similar style on June 26. The bay filly is a full sister to four-time stakes winner Jax and Jill, and her dam Rain Song also won four black-type races and nearly $300,000.

R C’s Daisyduke joined the brilliant La Verdad (Grade 2 Honorable Miss S. at Saratoga) as one of two stakes winners on Wednesday for their sire, giving him a total of eight stakes horses this year and pushing him pass the 100 stakes horses lifetime milestone.
