Freshman sire Caleb’s Posse got his second winner from just his fourth lifetime starter on Saturday when Divine Kaleb cruised to a 7 1/2-length maiden special weight win at Prairie Meadows.
Making his second lifetime start, Divine Kaleb easily took the lead soon after the gate opened, and expanded his margin throughout the five furlongs, stopping the clock in a solid :58.57 seconds.
Bred in Kentucky by Candy Meadows and McNeill Stables, Divine Kaleb is from the same family as Grade 1 winners Royal Mountain Inn and Miss Josh.
Winner of the Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1) and a millionaire, Caleb’s Posse stood the 2016 season at Three Chimneys Farm for $5,000 live foal.
