Cuz Ur Pretty gave Sharp Azteca his 12th winner, most among all First-Crop Sires of 2022, with a 10-length maiden special weight victory on July 18.

The dark bay filly had the early lead, then fell back to third briefly on the turn before uncorking a big rally up the inside to take the lead coming into the stretch. She quickly pulled clear of the field to win the five-furlong race at Finger Lakes in :59.55 over a sloppy racetrack.

Cuz Ur Pretty is owned by Marcello Rosa and was bred in Kentucky by Jay Goodwin and Cloyce Clark, Jr. She is the second foal out of Without the Risk and is from the immediate family of millionaire and multiple graded stakes winner Limehouse.

Among Sharp Azteca’s one dozen winners is the colt Tyler’s Tribe, who is undefeated in two starts, both blowout wins, most recently in the $100,000 Prairie Gold Juvenile S.
