The stakes debut for Sweet Posse turned into a runaway as the 2-year-old Caleb’s Posse filly rolled to an 8 1/2-length victory in the $75,000 Slide Show S. Friday evening at Remington Park.
The dark bay filly, owned by The Elkstone Group LLC, is the first stakes winner from Caleb’s Posse’s initial crop and is third multiple winner for her sire.
After tracking in third for a half-mile, Sweet Posse swept to the lead with a three-wide move on the second turn, and quickly pulled clear to win in hand. She covered the mile in 1:40.60 (VIDEO).
The winner is now 2-0-1 in four starts and has earned $76,533. She was bred by Tracy Strachan.
