Watch a special video report courtesy of the Blood-Horse on Grade 1 winner Volatile, who has his first foals arriving this year.

In the video, which can be seen here, Jody Huckabee of Elm Tree Farm talks about a Volatile colt that has connections buzzing! Bred by Nancy Shuford the colt is out of the Corinthian mare Athenian Beauty, who is a half-sister to the dam of Mor Spirit and from the immediate family of champion 3-year-old filly Stellar Wind

Volatile won the historic Alfred G. Vanderbilt S. (G1) at Saratoga and also posted the fastest Beyer Speed Figure of 112 for any horse in 2020. Volatile, who sold for $850,000 as a yearling, is out of stakes winner Melody Lady and his second dam is the brilliantly fast multiple Grade 1 winner and millionaire Lady Tak.

After breeding 181 mares in his first season, Volatile stands this year at Three Chimneys Farm for $15,000 S&N.
