T O Elvis earned his first graded stakes win Dec. 14 at Nakayama Racecourse in Japan in dominating fashion, flying through the stretch to come home a five-length winner of the Capella S. (G3).
The 3-year-old Volatile colt is the fourth graded winner and fifth stakes winner overall this year for his sire. Volatile has more GSWs than fellow Second-crop sires McKinzie ($75,000), Authentic ($15,0000) and Complexity ($20,000). Volatile stands the 2026 season for a fee of $10,000 LFS&N.
Well off the early pace in the 16-horse field, T O Elvis was unhurried through the first half-mile of the six-furlong race. He began to move up between horses, and then after turning for home, showed an explosive turn of foot, rocketing through the field and to the lead in less than a furlong. His final time on the “good” main track was 1:08.60
Now a winner of four straight, T O Elvis is owned by Tomoya Ozasa and has a lifetime record of 5-0-3 in eight starts, earning $619,060.
Bred by Jeff and Melissa Prunzik, T O Elvis is the highest earner out of Stopshoppingdebbie, who was an eight-time stakes winner. She is also the dam of stakes winner and graded stakes-placed Generous Tipper.
