Cashcheckorcharge upped her winning streak to four with a game victory in Monday’s $50,000 Chaves County S., the first stakes start for the 3-year-old Will Take Charge filly.

Riding a three-race winning streak coming into Monday’s six-furlong contest, Cashcheckorcharge dueled most of the way with Best of Me, who faded in the final furlong, and out-fought Shesomajestic to win by a length in 1:10.46.

Cashcheckorcharge has won four of five lifetime starts. Bred by her owner Tom Durant, she is the first starter out of graded stakes winner Final Mesa. 

Will Take Charge is a top-10 Second-Crop Sire with eight stakes horses progeny earnings of more than 
$2.2 million this year. He will stand at Three Chimneys in 2020 for $15,000 live foal.
