Three Chimneys Farm will host its open house and stallion showcase Tuesday through Sunday, November 4-9.
The farm’s five stallions, headlined by the Gun Runner as well as exciting new prospects in Gun Pilot and Newgate , will be available for inspection each day from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Gun Runner, who was the champion sire of his generation each of the past four years, is having another banner year both on track and in the sales ring. He stood the 2025 season for $250,000 S&N. On track, Brant is a leading contender for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1), while Sierra Leone looks to repeat his championship of 2024 in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. During the yearling auction season, Gun Runner had the highest average of any sire, $974,591, and was the first sire ever to have the session topper each of the first four days of the Keeneland September sale.
Gun Pilot, a son of Gun Runner, completed his first season at stud at Three Chimneys, covering 161 mares. Offered at $17,500, the Grade 1-winning millionaire won the Churchill Downs S. (G1) on Derby Day, as well as placing in the Forego S. (G1) and True North S. (G2) at Saratoga.
Newgate, who also joined the Three Chimneys roster in 2025, covered 180 mares in his first season. The son of Into Mischief won both the Santa Anita H (G1) and Robert B. Lewis S. (G3) and retired with over $1 million in earnings. He stood the 2025 season for $20,000 S&N.
Volatile, the winner of the Alfred G. Vanderbilt S. (G1) and the fastest sprinter of 2020, is a top-five Second-Crop sire of 2025, just as he was as a First-Crop sire last year. Volatile stands for $12,500 S&N.
Funtastic, who stands for $5,000 S&N, is a half-brother to Horse of the Year Saint Liam as well as the dam of Gun Runner. A Grade 1 winner at 11 furlongs, Funtastic’s Funtastic Again won this year’s Dominion Day S. (G3) and the 2023 Leonatus S.
