Three Chimneys Farm will host its open house and stallion showcase Saturday through Tuesday, January 10-13.
The farm’s five stallions, headlined by the Gun Runner, will be available for inspection each day from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Gun Runner, who was the champion sire of his generation each of the past four years, is having another banner year both on track and in the sales ring. His top 2025 runners included the 2-year-old filly Super Corredora, winner of the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1), Sierra Leone, winner of the Whitney S. (G1) and game runner up in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1), Del Mar Futurity (G1) winner Brant, and Santa Anita H. (G1) winner Locked. During the yearling auction season, Gun Runner had the highest average of any sire, $974,591, and was the first sire ever to have the session topper each of the first four days of the Keeneland September sale. He is standing in 2026 for $250,000 LFSN.
Gun Pilot, a son of Gun Runner, completed his first season at stud at Three Chimneys in 2025, covering 161 mares. Offered at $12,500 LFSN for 2026, the Grade 1-winning millionaire won the Churchill Downs S. (G1) on Derby Day, as well as placing in the Forego S. (G1) and True North S. (G2) at Saratoga.
Newgate, who also joined the Three Chimneys roster in 2025, covered 180 mares in his first season. The son of Into Mischief won both the Santa Anita H (G1) and Robert B. Lewis S. (G3) and retired with over $1 million in earnings. He is standing the 2026 season for $17,500 LFSN.
Volatile, the winner of the Alfred G. Vanderbilt S. (G1) and the fastest sprinter of 2020, finished as a top-five Second-Crop sire of 2025, just as he was as a First-Crop sire in 2024. Among his 15 stakes horses in 2025 were track record setter Tip Top Thomas and Southwest S. (G3) Speed King, who recently returned to the races with a stellar effort Dec. 26 at Oaklawn Park. Volatile stands for $10,000 LFSN.
Funtastic, who stands for $2,500 LFSN, is a half-brother to Horse of the Year Saint Liam as well as the dam of Gun Runner. A Grade 1 winner at 11 furlongs, Funtastic’s Funtastic Again won the 2025 Dominion Day S. (G3) and the 2023 Leonatus S.
