Will Take Charge’s Manny Wah drew post 1 in the 10-horse field for Saturday’s $2 million Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) at Keeneland.

Winner of the Phoenix S. (G2) on Oct. 7 over this same track in his most recent start, Manny Wah will be ridden by Corey Lanerie for trainer Wayne Catalano and owner Susan Moulton.

The 6-year-old is one of eight stakes winners this year for his sire, a group that includes Holly Gold Cup (G1) winner There Goes Harvard and W. L. McKnight S. (G3) winner Abaan.

Manny Wah has won or place in a dozen black type races in his career, amassing nearly $800,000 in earnings. His stakes-winning dam Battlefield Angel is a sister to multiple graded stakes winner Blended Citizen and Kentucky Derby (G1) runner-up and $1.3 million earner Lookin At Lee.

Saturday’s Sprint is race 7 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
